If you're not a candidate for Invisalign, braces would definitely be your best option. The system of braces that you use will depend on the preference of the orthodontist involved and what they feel works best. Personally, I use the Damon system braces on all my patients. They allow me to get the absolute best result for my patients in the shortest period of time.
However, I know some very good orthodontists that use other types of braces and are able to get very good results. The type of bracket that is used is not as important as finding someone that wants to do their very best for you.
I hope that helps.

With all that you know as a ortho, If you had toget braces because of overbite and crowding teeth, what brace system and bracket system would you get if you were not a candidate for invisalign? Would it be traditional or say like a suresmile? and would you use the damon bracketts or not? I want to be in braces the least amount of time as does everone , but want to know the best way to go.
Thank you
