We have another nomination for our #ServingNWAGiveaway that we want to share and we just can’t tell this story any better than her own grandmother!
“Cabela is my 9-year-old granddaughter. For the last 5 years (since she was 4) she has done a lemonade stand in our little community of Wesley during Bikes, Blues and BBQ. The first year she made a little over $200 which she tithed to her church and put the rest into a college fund. The 2nd year she made $500 and she used the entire amount to buy Gideon Bibles in memory of a young girl who had recently been killed in a car accident. The next three years she made $716, $1200, and $1600. She donated every penny of to a local scholarship fund in honor of the girl who was killed in the car accident, American Cancer Society, Convey of Hope (Hurricane Relief), Arkansas Children’s Hospital, and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital. She has a servant’s heart and it’s amazing watching it grow and mature. I cannot wait to see who she picks this year to help.”
Cabela has had a heart for others since the age of 4!!! How amazing is that? Truly touching to see how this young lady’s efforts have helped so many over the years. Your giving nature is incredible, Cabela!
